Improv ABC is a valuable tool in any improviser's arsenal. Whether you're new or experienced there's value in being reminded about things you can work on.
There are so many ways to read it Read it once, read it ten times, comb through it, skim it, quote it.
The book is really well designed too. It's just plain fun to flip through!
I purchased this book directly from Ben's site, and it's lovely. It is precisely full of bite sized little nuggets that allow for easy flipping through/browsing. Even after hastily reading it cover to cover the first time I got it, I find myself pulling it open to random pages in order to remind myself of some little tactic or idea to keep in my pocket for the next practice.
If you want a good overview of solid improv ideas/concepts, Mr. Noble's book is precisely where I'd send you. Highly recommended.
Reading this book is almost as fun as actually improvise. It so simple and practical with easy to follow and fun illustrations. I highly recommend this book for any level of improviser who wants to up there game.
Ben Noble has finally released the book we've been waiting for. "We" being the improv community and humanity at large.
Visually engaging, simple to understand, and fun as hell, Improv ABC is one sign that there will at least be hope, joy, and improv during the inevitable heat-death of the universe.

The content of the book is excellent, some nice nuggets in there. But the KINDLE edition is crap. The book doesn't work like normal kindle books, you can change the type size, page colors, can't highlight passages. Very disappointing.

Very good! Short, because it didn't need to be any longer than it was. Full of useful tips. I wish I had this when I was starting out!
