"The Way to Wealth" is an essay written by Benjamin Franklin in 1758. It is a collection of adages and advice presented in Poor Richard's Almanac during its first 25 years of publication, organized into a speech given by "Father Abraham" to a group of people. Many of the phrases Father Abraham quotes continue to be familiar today. The essay's advice is based on the themes of work ethic and frugality.
Some phrases from the almanac quoted in "The Way to Wealth" include
"There are no gains, without pains"
"One today is worth two tomorrows"
"A life of leisure and a life of laziness are two things"
"Get what you can, and what you get hold"
"Sloth, like rust, consumes faster than labor wears, while the used key is always bright"
"Have you somewhat to do tomorrow, do it today"
"The eye of a master will do more work than both his hands"
"Early to bed, and early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise"
"For want of a nail..."

The Way to Wealth Illustrated eBook Benjamin Franklin
Ben Franklin was far more complex a man as I previously thought. He was able to do some extraordinary things in his life time from participation in the revolutionary war to writing the constitution. He risked everything to participate in the revolution. He was a diplomat and a strategist. This is just one of his many talents. Easy to grasp his principles.Product details

The Way to Wealth Illustrated eBook Benjamin Franklin Reviews
Please read the subtitle on the cover "A 52 Brilliant Ideas Interpretation".
It's not Franklin's book. It's a discussion of 52 ideas from the Franklin's book. On that basis, it's a nice read.
But why is there a stovepipe hat on the cover? Did the publisher get confused between Benjamin Franklin and Abraham Lincoln? I should see if they have an interpretation of The Gettysburg Address, maybe there's a three-cornered hat on the cover!
Reading Franklin is always a pleasure, his writing grabs your attention and makes you want to read more. I enjoy reading the founding fathers as, I feel that it gives incite and context to the times and situations that they were faced with, before and after the revolution.
It's a quick read, but an insightful one. Definite recommend for any Benjamin Franklin fans,
This book provides excerpts from that time period. Interesting and many of which are still applicable for today's usage.
Got one for every kid in the family. Great stocking stuffers. Good advice for any kid. A value at twice the price.
The book itself (if it can be called a book) was very good. But I bought the $8.45 hardcover edition not realizing that it was more of a pamphlet than a book. It's 30 pages of large font text and it took me about 5 minutes, if even, to read it cover to cover. I have since discovered that the entire text can be found online free to read fairly easily. It seems to me kind of ironic to spend any money on this pamphlet that advises not to spend needlessly.
